Here some early 1974 footage of the LWF project of the 60-70s....- YF-16 and YF-17 flying together at Edwards AFB.
Hard to beleive that 40years on and both designs are still in production and will be for quite a while to come....
One wonders since F-4 is still working for a living at 50yrs of age, one can only assume that these more advanced birds of 70s design era will be working possibly to 60-70years too.
