...and since The Swoose was in NMF by 1945, that B-17D must be another one that survived the war. Wonder which one it was?

The camouflaged aircraft with the tall tail flying in formation with the camera ship appears to be a twin? Boeing 247? or something more exotic like a Japanese Medium bomber? rather than a four engined B17-D?
