My adventure to the Heritage Flight Museum open house

Sun Feb 22, 2009 1:16 am

My friend Robert "Chipmunk Bob" Hill invited me to tag along in his Chipmunk for a trip to the Heritage Flight Museum's open house in Bellingham. How could I say no? Here are some pics from today. Enjoy!

A rather crooked shot of Bellingham airport. You can see the Museum with the P-51 and Texans outside

I've always wanted to get a shot like this.

You bet!

I'll make my way up again someday for sure.

Geez Al, with a beard like that, you could probably get a guest spot on Joaquin Phoenix's new rap album. You're probably just as good as him too!

Mine was nearly as long and everyone was calling me a U-Boat captain at work. Had to shave it for an upcoming conference. Ah well...
As always, nice pics!

The Skyraider wasn't there this weekend. It's still with the museum though.
