The airport to nowhere - leads to Marauder fuselage

Yesterdays Air Force must have left one B-26 fuselage in Million Dollar Valley.
A little more than halfway down the page of this link, is a link titled CAME BACK which if you scroll to the bottom, there appears to be a Marauder, although its identified as a B-25.

Maybe this is already well-known, but it was sure news to me.

I'd have to agree that it's a Marauder. Never seen a B-25 with a bubble like that.

Not the CAF. Even if they had one they would just sell it.

Hmmmm, sure that isn't an early B-25 with the aft dorsal turret? fuselage looks more slab sided like the 25 than the rounder Marauder? Better pictures are in order! Not an Oil Tank I'm pretty sure! 
When was that pic shot, the Marauders were recovered in the early 70's but that article was talking 82? Mysterious!!

Looks like a B-25 to me too.

I read an article in the early 80s? about the recovery effort. I'm not entirely certain, but I recall that they did leave some parts in the Valley. Perhaps this aft fuselage is what they didn't get out. The fuselage looks circular to me.

Could this be the remains of the one that the nosewheel collapsed and the nose section was badly crushed?

I'm pretty sure that one is Kermit's. If I remember correctly, the rest of the flipped aircraft was in better sahpe and more complete, except for the nose. Part of the long restoration involved grafting the nose off of one of the other fuselages.
