Ken Miles

Wed Feb 04, 2009 6:36 pm

Ken Miles from the Collings Foundation - KMiles to you WIXers, was injured in a headon collision two nights ago while on his way home from work. He has a shattered ankle on one leg and his kneecap is broken on the other. He's currently still in the hospital after multiple surgeries. Apparently they aren't finished yet. Not an easy thing but thankfully not life threatening.

I hope you will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that, get well soon!

Terrible news! Ken is a very nice fellow. I've spoken with him on the telephone several times. I'm glad his injuries are comparitively minor, and I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery!

(and here I've been whining the last few days about having a broken toe! )

Cheers!

Never good when a fellow WIXer is down and out. Hope he recovers soon too. Very sad to hear of this. :(

Send him my best wishes and good luck.

Ken, here's hoping:

a) nothing but a complete and speedy recovery is yours,

b) none but cute nurses perform your sponge bath, and

c) you have internet access during your recovery.

Ken, my thoughts and prayers are with you for a quick and successful recovery.

Ken, my thoughts are with you also! Hey, hoping your legs get up to speed as you know it's tough getting into those bombers...

Here's praying you'll have a full recovery. Head ons aren't pretty. Glad it sounds like a recovery is expected.

Thoughts and prayers are with you man! My mother departed the interstate and used some oak trees to stop last year, shattered ankles are a slow recovery. Pins, screws, plates.....lots of PT, do the exercises, follow their advice...it will get better eventually.

Best wishes for a speed and successful recovery Ken.
