Dragon and it's Tail crew

Thu Jan 22, 2009 3:18 pm

I'm trying to help a guy find out some info on his uncle. Seems his Dad was a Marine and happend to hook up with his brother, in the AAF on New Guinea. And he has this pic that he's had all these years, which he posted on another forum.

Holy crap, it's the Dragon and it's Tail! His uncle was a nose gunner but he doesn't know which aircraft. Seems logical to me that it would be the Dragon and it's Tail. I have been looking for crew rosters, but no luck. I tried searching his name, John (Nash) Naszcyniec at Kensmen.com, but no luck there either.

Any ideas?

A great link for any AAC/AAF research is www.armyairforces.com . The whole site is dedicated to research, and even has forums. I found a lot of contacts for the research on my uncle's B-29.
