Hello,
My father flew this airplane for Kenting Aviation in 1960. They were performing high-altitude survey flights in the Arctic, mapping.

I'd like to find some photos of it in it's Kenting days, before it went to Bolivia. Can anybody help me out?
Thanks,
Dave

Perhaps Scott Thompson might have the photo you are looking for in his vast collection of B-17 photos. You can email him at

I don't know if you have seen this photo group before, but I considered it a 'goldmine' when I first saw it! It has just what you want and more.
Fantasic pictures of this plane by Bob Wheelan who worked for Kenting in the 1950's and 1960's.

Thanks!
Yes, I've already planned to meet with Bob Wheelan, and have dropped a line to Scott.
