Jack - do you have any WWII shots taken of planes airborne near carriers? I am specifically interested in any shots that show the CVs and their wakes from any altitude ... I'm in the planning stages of a VF-27 Hellcat piece and I want to get the carrier in there as backdrop to the F6Fs.

Thanks in advance!

No rush, Jack - let me know if you run across some. I visit the Nat'l Museum of Naval Aviation at least once a year and I need to get in on their annual art contest ... tired of looking at everybody else's work there. Don't think my usual fare of P-51s and Fw 190s would go over well with the saltwater crowd, however!

(Plus I have a secret love affair with the Hellcat and Corsair - 8) )

Cheers!
Wade
