<Sigh!> When I was growing up in Ottawa DTH was a locally based Transport Canada DC-3 with "Canadian Coast Guard" painted on the bottom of the wings in English and French. I can still remember the the beautiful sound of those Pratt 1830s as they would fly low over the house while doing circuits.

It's heartbreaking to see it looking like that. :cry:

Is this one ever going to fly again??!!

Cool pics..literally! I knew that some military P-3s had been converted for firefighting, but I didn't realize that civil Electras had been converted as well.

Is the AIR SPRAY Electra #487 the old half and half that Reeve pieced together several years ago from two damaged airframes?
