Happy New Year to all! I've got a bunch more to go through in the next few days.

Former PBA DC-3 newly painted in Eastern Express colors (probably in Hyannis, MA)
Here's a newer one from Gardner, MA. The local FBO has a few of these he's rebuilt.

I remember Enhorning and Passion Wagon. He used to have an airline buddy that lived near us and would occasionally come by in Passion Wagon and buzz the guys house. Even from a mile away there is nothing like a Merlin in full song.....

Why, thank you Tom. Now that I look at 'er again (at the vertical stab, I mean) I almost feel like I shoulda guessed Marchetti might be involved. I've actually logged time in another Marchetti product.

That DC-3 pic is great! Did you take it? If it really is ex-PBA N38PB, then it's our airplane, c/n 2137, that flew for AA originally as "Flagship Tulsa". Do you happen to have a higher res version that you wouldn't mind sharing with us? We're trying to have a complete history of our aircraft, and I didn't know about it flying in this scheme. Do you know if it was flying for Eastern, or if it was just a fun paint scheme?

Thanks for the heads up on Flagship Tulsa! I checked out the thread on the Vintage section and it's fantastic to see!
My Dad took the picture and now that I think about it, it was probably in New Bedford, MA, not Hyannis - probably 1988. I've got some other PBA DC-3 photos that I'll post ASAP, but the registrations are not visible in those.
