New liaison aircraft forum...

Fri Jan 02, 2009 6:03 pm

Hello all,

I have recently started a new website for the oft-forgotten "L-birds" of World War Two and beyond (O-birds accepted as well). Check out the forum at: http://lbirds.forumotion.com/
Of course this is NOT meant to replace your normal check-in to WIX.

I'm in as well. Old Dominion Squadron/CAF's OY-1 is in the final stages of returning to the flightline.

I tried to register but it won't let me use my e-mail address. It said somebody else is using it.

That's REALLY odd. It does not show up in my administration panel anywhere...

I would prefer a liaison section on the WIX rather than another competing site. This would allow the WIX to expand into new areas of specificity.

Frankly, I want both, which is why I don't want to "steal" anyone from WIX and will continue to check in here as often as ever. However, I've found that with sites like the Doolittle Raid site, that it's VERY useful to have something like this for family members who know a little bit about their dad or grandfather's service, but don't know where to start.
