That is the complete set of D model manuals with the case. They show up on epay often, and I would not call them rare. I think there was a set issued to most of the ground crew members, and most of them took them home after the war. They typically sell for $500-600 when they are complete with the case.

They are actually pretty useful books. There are people out there that have scanned them into digital format that can be picked up on a much smaller budget.
