For the same reasons that he's not wearing safety glasses or hearing protection, all that is far far in the 'lets all get politically correct' future.

Also, apparently a non union shop as this guy is working and I don't see anyone else gettin' it and hittin' it in the middle of a war-and all for $1.03 an hour while his Supervisor is asking 'are ya done wittdat yet?' :P :P
