Call me stupid, I thought I read a while back that there was a company in california that was building like 15 new,scratch built p51 mustangs to flying condition was their goal..Did anything ever become of it happening? Any status updates or pictures somebody could share? what company was it?

There was Gerry Beck's project in North Dakota as well, no? I thought his plan was to build 10 Allison powered Mustangs.
Not sure where that stands now after his loss.

Im still hoping to see Gerry's A model restored back to airworthy condition. Does anyone know the condition that its in or have any pics?
