Lake Murray B-25

Thought I'd start a new thread/topic on this. Does anyone know the status of this plane/project. Apparently only the nose section is on display. The rest of the plane is sitting outside in the elements 
. I've checked the Southern Museum Of Flight's web page and they mention the plane but don't even have a picture of it!?! What's the deal? Just curious. I thought the plane was donated to them because they were in the best position to preserve and display it properly...

There is no room to put it all together. The display consist of the nose, upper turret 50 Cal. M/G, Complete lower turret, 30 Cal. nose gun,Pilots watch, fire extinguisher and a few other small artifacts.

Not to be harsh here or to judge (and I certainly don't have the money to do anything), but why is the center section sitting outside seemingly unprotected? And unless I'm missing something, why doesn't the museum website have any pictures of this plane online...not one!

My only answer The Director Jim Griffin It was at that time I quit being a volunteer. I and others worked hard to get the plane ready to put together. The center section is the only major part that has not been cleaned, other than pressure washing the mud out of the inside of the wings. I Was not happy and could not resolve anything as a volunteer.

upon recovery i was approached by salvor dr seigler to do the appraisal of the b-25 c. i do not have credentials for official appraisals. thus i forwarded the request to my friend robb hill of albuquerque new mexico. he did the assessment, & i ran interference doing sideline research. the whole thing took about 3 months to complete. it is supposed to be displayed as a diorama as it sat in lake murray due to extreme corrosion. i have no info beyond that.
