I passed in a C-172. The neat thing is, my dad got his PPL in the same airplane about 32 years ago! It's the circle of life!

congrats, When I got my certificate, it turned out that my intructor's last private pilot student was my friend Carl, who got his in 1968.
My dad was not a pilot in WWII, but he was a crew chief, he worked on T-6, C-45, C-47, a P-47 that a british pilot flipped on landing at the field he was based , I have worked on every type of plane he did.
