Note the armament officer showing the men how to do it in a nice clean uniform and shiny shoes. Then the gruff old sergent, "It'll be nice when the photo shop guys leave, along with the Looey, and we can get on with the job".

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was a joke..since the B-40 was the gunship escort version of the B-17, and therefore carried no bombs! 8)

Cool pics, though..you can never have too many shots of P-40s!
