These photos make me think about my cousin Lt Dallas Books B-24 pilot KIA March 1944. :cry:

That last photo is amazing. Almost makes me kinda sick to know men probably died moments after that photo was taken.

Its really eerie to see moments like that captured in time, especially in the photos where you can make out the crewmembers in the cockpit...and knowing that within seconds they would be killed.
