Two 'new' 4th FG books ...

Thu Oct 16, 2008 2:46 pm

One not so new, and one coming up - :)

I somehow missed this first book when it was originally released - I just got it yesterday. Written by 4th FG pilot Conrad Netting's (KIA 10 June 44) son, I'm hoping this will be as good as similar "labor of love" (always the most interesting) books like Sandy Merrill's DONALD'S STORY (Don Emerson) and Robert T. Reed's LOST BLACK SHEEP (VMF-214 ace Chris Magee).

The book's site:

FYI, here it is on Amazon -

Also, for those who don't know, author Chris Bucholtz has written a book on the 4th for Osprey's Aviation Elite Units series for release next month:

About as close to art as I'll ever get. I found Delayed Legacy a few months back. It's a worthy addition to any 4th FG collection and just a good read overall.

Fooling around with a 51B profile just to do Conjon IV
