Warbird Owner/Pilot Business Cards

While going through boxes of old stuff recently, I uncovered some business cards I'd collected many years ago from several warbird owners and pilots. The cards featured nice photos of their airplane on the front side, with their typical business card info on the back.

I thought it might be fun for people to show off other cards they've collected from other warbird owners/pilots.

Since I'm a Mustang enthusiast, I'll kick it off with a couple P-51s:

Funny that you posted this, Randy... I have a collection of them myself! Cutter's new card is pretty cool with his F-100 on it! Saw him a couple weeks ago... fun to get him talking about his Mustang years! Somewhere I think my Dad got Bob Pond's.

Do you have mine with the 170 on it!?!?

Without a doubt, the coolest aviation business card I have ever seen belongs to WIX's own "P51Mstg" Mark Hrutkay - an aluminum business card with a P-51D dataplate on one side and Mark's contact info on the other side. If anything else, you're guaranteed to remember it. Maybe he'll post a pic...

I like that idea. Encore Wire in McKinney does this too. All of their cards are made of the same copper that is used for the wires they make (they're the US's largest producer of copper and aluminum conductive wire).

If anyone wants business cards, I can design them and get them printed.

I'd love to see the aluminum one. I have a source for doing aluminum cards as well.

Someone once gave me an aluminum business card. IIRC, it was a from a company that made custom engine side covers for Ford Model A and B street rods.

Caused me an amazing amount of problems at the airport, when I went through the metal detector. TSA ended up confiscating it because they considered it to be a "lethal weapon".

Somewhere I think I still have the card that Mr. Tallichet gave me at the Doolittle Raiders Reunion. Didn't have a clue back then just who I was talking to!

Per Zack's request....... The Mustang Data Plate card, front and back. People (Zack is an example here) never forget them or toss them out (except for the TSA who collects them). However, they are burned on a laser and cost about $18 each. Considering that people toss that many cards away, its still worth it. The paper card gets kept a lot of the time because of what is on the back.......... I give a lot more of them away since they are a bit cheaper too.

Wow.....I have some of those too! Have the Dean Cutshall one, have Bill Greenwood's (shot by Phil Makanna) and have a different Mark Howard one with a Lockheed C-60 on it as I recall.....got a whole mess of aviation business cards that maybe I'll get around to scanning in this weekend...

What about that holiday aviation X-mas card collection? Got some of thyose too...
