I don't have PS I just have a basic HP editing program. I use the panoramic program and it puts the photo's together automaticlly with no visible lines.

These pic's are both made up of 4 photo's put together with no lines.
Just try and stay in the same position while taking the series of photo's.

Autostitch.

Guys,
Just use Autostitch. It is free and it gives great results... And it is 100% automatic for panoramas.

The only problems are when people walk around the aircraft... then you get more than one. (see orange cap guy)
Or if you take pictures at diff times... and get the aircraft starting both #1 and #4 at the same time.

Hey Blue,

I tried using the Autostitch and it keeps telling me "No image matches found".

Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Just get a wide angle lens

How come everybody but Jack has posted on this thread. I saw a P-3 and since Jack was a former crew on them I wanted to know if he recognized the plane :!:

But this is going way off topic talkin about autostich or P.S.

Sorry dude. My little flu bug has got my head elsewhere. a P.M. would've been more ideal in my place. :|

I'm home now so I can see the photos. I'm not a numbers guy But I'm guessing it's a VP-40 a/c has we has P-3As when I was in VP-69.
It was probably new back in 1986-87 and a update III (or whatever they are now after numerous upgrades) has we got the very first ones and were awarded the Coastal Command Trophy in 1987.
