What was the outcome of this, anyone know?

We had just pulled away from the fuel truck with our mustang and I look up to see good ole Earl dead sticking in habu...then I realize he is lined up on the ramp! we moved a little faster then ill tell you! the actual touchdown was pretty straight forward and he rolled out with no fuel in the plane at all. That shot looks pretty close to the approach end which was a lot more interesting. I think I took a pic from further down the ramp of the same event.

That's "Habu", 44-73196/N5449V.
Since the airplane was later destroyed in Colorado, and that's pretty clearly Reno in the photo, my guess is that everything ended up all right.

Yes, C-FFUZ is the only other P-51 I have ever seen painted black. I miss seeing Garry McCann and FUZ around Ontario. He must have owned and flown that aircraft in the same markings for over two decades.

Another shot of GeGe II in formation over Hamilton, ON.
