The lighter carried by Gen Tommy Hayes is upstairs at the hangar in the 357th markings.
I think Jim posted a photo of it a while back.

If it's just a dispaly piece (or your buddy has really big pockets!) I'd finish it in FUTURE instead of some other painted on coating-

I don't think the paint would hold up to regular carrying and use. Most Zippos are engraved.
I do have a Zippo that was carried on the first flight of the XB-70. It is packed away somewhere......

Pretty much done. Still have to apply the few final clear coats.
