This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

BDK, that Fort almost looks engine-less. Can't tell for sure.

This site claims it's Sentimental Journey, but I can't make out any military markings in the satellite pic.

What the heck would SJ be doing in northern West Virgina? Her route takes her that far east?

IIRC SJ visted West Virginia a few seasons ago. I know at one point it spent close to a month up in Maine back in 05 or 06.

SJ did spend almost a month just off Acadia Island at the Bar Harbor Airport in 2005 and 2006. One of the flight crew runs a flight seeing operation at Bar Harbor during the summer and winters in mesa.
My dad just HATED

seeing SJ fly around the island on a daily basis or two or three times a day.
I was able to visit for a week or so, and it was interesting watching the crew eat a lobster cooked there on the beach

you have to remember that the Sat photos are taken at different times. If you look at Falcon field, Mesa Az, and Glendale Airport, Glendale, Az You will see that both airports have a B-17 and B-24 on the ramp, The photos are several years apart as both planes are the CF planes.
