Here's a quickie illustration I've been messing with while I should have been picking up all the branches Ike knocked down...

BTW, I'm still looking for photos of a Zero, Sturmovik or Mossie I can put in my book. Anybody?

I might have some preserved Il-10 stuff (static), but no Il-2s. I have some preserved Zero stuff (ground and flight) as well.

Are you looking for wartime photos, preserved stuff, or what?

I'm looking for anything, really, as long as it's authentic (no converted Texans). Flying is preferred, if flyable examples exist, but I'll take what I can get. I've got a handful of pix between me and getting this book done, so I'm getting less picky every day (I drew the illo above just because I got tired of trying to chase down a good 110 photo)

This board so completely rocks. OK, I've now got more Zeroes than are laying at the bottom of the Marianas trench, so thanks guys!

Still could use a Mosquito in living color...

Oh, and thanks, Muddyboots! Steal away! That image will probably end up being converted into a shirt soon, so keep an eye on my gift shop...
