Looking for Zero and IL-2 photos

Mon Sep 15, 2008 8:53 am

I'm preparing a book for self-publication and I am looking for photos of the Mitsubishi A6M Zero and/or the IL-2 Sturmovik. If you have taken a good photo of either plane and would like to contribute, please PM or email me and let me know.

Anyone with any very funny or oddball pix containing WW2 aircraft is also welcome to submit. I'm also a little weak on pix of the Mossie and the ME110, as well, if anyone has any of those.

You won't get rich (or much of anything, for that matter, other than bragging rights), but you will be credited and retain your copyright, as well as earning my undying gratitude, which may prove useful if your car won't start in Cincinnati or something.

The book in question is a children's book of WW2 airplanes. Some of you may remember I was trolling for pictures a year or two ago for such a book. It's the same book...I am reformatting it for a different printer and cramming it full of more artwork and photos, as the prior edition did not exactly take the world by storm. I have more optimism than sense, though, and I am just a couple photos away from trying again, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
