Believe it or not there actually a Englishman in the photo
besides an Yankee, a Aussie, a S. Africian, and New Zealander and a Canadian

If that code is MV-O, that will be 53 OTU (Operational Training Unit).
Looks like a tired old Mk V with deep oil cooler, most probably at RAF Kirton on Lindsey or one of its satellites.
Those guys, just one course short of Spitfire squadron operations.
