I need to go through the photos I took at FHC on Sunday (the first time I have ever been there). I love the name, as I was born and raised in Tallahassee and have been researching and collecting info on the 3rd AF fighter training bases in that area in WW2. The original, "Tallahassee Lassie," was named after a gal the pilot met while training in the area. I found a story about the pilot of the original airplane here: http://www.ktvb.com/sharedcontent/north ... 6131f.html
