AC Thunder over the Boardwalk

Wed Aug 20, 2008 9:28 pm

I wandered away from the hangar today to actually see a show today. Thanks to Jim for providing the Chalet on the beach. It was a fun sun soaked day.
Here is a couple from the show. Not the greatest pics but I'm not used to taking pics of moving objects anymore. A digital camera isn't the same as the Minolta I used to use.

Jim was flying Bald Eagle (with a DFF still attached)
Lee was flying something from Stallion 51.

That looks alot like the TF-51 "Little Witch" that Lee is flying.

Rich, Bald Eagle and Little Witch looked great (Nice and shiney, hehe). The Mustangs and Corsair were my favorite part of the show.

The heritage flight got a very good "wow" from the crowd as it came by. :D

The guy behind me on the beach got very excited when Bald Eagle showed up, he was very excited to see a Spitfire

My fiance told me it was fun to watch me try my hardest not to turn around and yell at him to stop calling it a Spitfire

That would be TF-51 Little Witch formally owned by Bob Jepson. It is now operated by Stallion 51 for the new owner.
