For some interesting reading, there are two good articles on Rod Lewis in Forbes this week; one about how he makes his money, and another about how he spends the money he makes on warbirds:

God bless him and his wealth, and thanks for preserving the aircraft he is. I hope his cancer never returns.

Before he bought his North American NA-50, he persuaded his friend Chuck Yeager, the legendary test pilot, to fly to California and check it out with him. That plane is named "Preying Mantis," with nose art of a buxom, scantily clad redhead riding on the back of a predatory insect. It might go for $2 million at auction today.

Huh? I've seen the plane, it's nice, but two big ones? I thought it was a T-6 kind of conversion plane.

three more Bearcats

For a total of four? Sweet!

Good luck to the dude! I'm glad he is taking care of all of those rides. Can't wait to see them!
