We picked it up a few months ago. Actually someone posted the ad here on WIX. We are planning a Viet Nam Veterans event on Veteran's day weekend to "unveil" the Huey. No plans for now, but I would love to have it in the air sometime.
Yes, that Huey has a lot of potential, especially with Doug, his excellent imagination, and ability to do something fun, just like they've done with the Sherman.
I think it'll be great to see a Cavanaugh Korea/Vietnam "Act" in the coming years with the AD, OV-1, Trojan, Caribou, OH-13, and Huey. Gives you everything for a nice Rescue mission all in one package.
Thanks very much for the Huey details. Very cool! Will she fly again?
My friends at the Ca-based "Wings & Rotors" Museum have a Seawolf under restoration to fly as well.
It would be great to see USN-marked ones in the air again!
