Mustangdriver.....yes, but same angle......they have changed the path around the aircraft since I was last out there...used to be able to go all the way back on the starboard side....now only the area you see in the picture..

What in the wild world of sports is that green color on the 24? Does not come close to any OD I have ever seen. Cool job on rebuilding that bird.What a mess it was.

I actually have seen a few pics of some early B-24's with that scheme on it. I don't remember the name of the color, but I saw it explained in a model magazine.

Someone gets a huge "ATTA BOY/GIRL/WHATEVER" for having the idea of showing the B-24 being built as it's being restored! The average person can enjoy the airframe as a whole, but be given a glimpse into whats under the metal and paint!
Maybe they should just stop where they are and leave it a perpetual 'work in progress'

....just had an additional thought- pipe in the sounds of electric drills (thats what was normal in WW2) and riveting along with ratchets and other tool noises-

Gary! I was there today August 9 - they sure are making it a nice museum eh? Got to go outside with the museum folks and see thier F-104 a couple of F-4s and thier F-86D.
