I find it interesting that it looks like a passenger plane overall (curtains in the windows) but has the big honkin' torpedo bay... I will admit it is a rather attractive (and large) seaplane!

Not really up to date on my FIAT aircraft, but I believe it is a G-50 . . . or is it a G-46?

Yes..Ambrosini, Chad..probably a post war S.7 or Supersette. If it's a WW2 example itsa S.A.I. 7 Fighter Trainer.
One of my Italian favorites...3000 pound gross weight with 280hp Isotta-Fraschini Beta R.C. 10 with a max
speed of 248 mph. They also built some derivative single seat prototypes and a small production(13) fighters
and interceptors with guns/cannon more H.P. etc. A large production order of 3000 was placed for
S.A.I. 403 Dardo, but the order was cancelled due to the Italian Armistice.

Goes without saying...very sexxy birds..I've coveted since I was a kid! Thanks for the great pics!!!

Correction..She's an S. 7...Supersette has a 355hp Gipsy Queen and the more distinctive schnozz..

Most all the Italian WWII airplanes were good looking . Shame so few remain. Would be neat to see one of those three engine bombers at an airshow. Kind of like their cars ....either really good looking or butt ugly. No in between!
