Jets at Chino circa 1986

Fri Aug 01, 2008 5:43 pm

These were taken at Chino in June 1986. I appologise about the quality as the hangar was very, very dark but I think the subjects were worth it.

The Sabre is N86CD which was owned by Corwin Denny and flown on the show circuit by R.A. Bob Hoover.

The T-bird in black was owned by ATV which was the same owner as the A-4 that crashed. It is now owned by The Fredkin family I believe.

The Hunter i believe is former G-HUNT which went to Combat Jets in Houston and later to OSH where it never flew again.

Hope this helps.

Come to think about it i think the HUNTER is not the combat jets A/c as it came to the stats already red. This maybe the Hanson Hunter at Mojave which was later painted light green.

that is one EARLY scooter...
