AAF Spokesmodel

Thu Jul 31, 2008 11:41 am

When I down at Midland at the Museum, they had an exhibit (just a display case really) about an AAF spokesmodel who appeared on posters, brochures, etc designed to give info to the servicemen. Does anyone remember what her name was? And does anyone have any pics?

Django - I think you mean Margie. I can take a few shots of the display and get you her full name, etc. probably tomorrow. Feel free to PM me if you are needing anything more specific.

Django - here are a few shots I took this morning of the Margie Stewart display at the AAHM. PM me if you need some further info.

You can also google on some combination of Margie Stewart World War II official pinup war bonds and find other info on her. Hope that helps.
