This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

slow day at work... did some crawling through the net and stumbled on this one....
an airplane graveyard in El Paso County, TX
there are a number of Beech C-45's / JRB's rotting away, as well as some light airplanes and what appears to be a T-6 / SNJ....
is this a well known place ? Just curious...
and pardon me for putting up a link

I remember another group of C-45-type airplanes on a private lot east of Dallas that reminds me of this cache. We drove past them on the way to Devil's Bowl Speedway near Mesquite if memory serves. There were a couple with civilian paint and one or two with ex-Navy schemes. It must have been 1997 or so when we stumbled onto them.

Yeah I saw that place too. I tried to find out history from the owner but he cussed me out and his dog just about bit me. Not the nicest fellow in the world.
I looked it up on G.Earth and its gone now. Still wonder what the deal was.
