Was just having a look around their website...
For example, one legendary Bearcat, called "Rare Bear," grew some Lear Jet wings and nose fuselage that resembled an outsized gas mask.

Huh??

and then:
Between 1995–1997, the plan was showcased in John Grey’s Fighter Collection in Duxford, Europe's largest collection of airworthy World War II planes.

Perhaps the author wasn't able to get the accurate information from Mr. Grey because he was indisposed in the Stephen at the time.

Vendetta was the first, then MAII got the wings and tail and built a purpose built fuselage
