This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I'm in Puerto Rico for 2 weeks with work. Anyone know of any must-see warbirds here?
At a glance, I've seen the Four Star DC-3's on the SJU ramp and the A-7 and F-104 the PRANG has on static display. A local scuba site talks about a B-29 that folks dive to.
Any WIXer input?
Ken

Back in the 1980's the Puerto Rico Air National Guard restored a P-47 to flying condition. Don't know if it was ever flown or not.

If you cannot find any warbrids of note to research I might suggest that you check out some of the WWII era abandoned airfields. Check out Paul Freeman's site
www.airfields-freeman.com. He's always looking for current photographs of these fields to add to his database ...and you'll get photo credits to boot!

Not a warbird, but if you happen to be near Aguadilla, please see if you can take some photos of the Ahrens 404 that was at a time, used as a cafeteria.
I don't know the exact location, but it is a well known landmark.

What became of the B-25 that was at the drag strip in Salinas for so many years? Did it finally rot completely away? It should be here at my place.

So far I only have one site in the Locator...
http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php ... TheResults
...and it may not be accessible to the public.
I'll check my notes and see if there is anything that can easily be added.
