Well, it looks like ALL of the mechanics and crew required for a single flight got out okay though.

I think the flight crew actually did all survive this one. The serial number escapes me, but it was an original 500th Group airplane. I put all my B-29 stuff away a couple of months ago and I'm too lazy to go look for it, but that is what I remember about this picture. They almost made it to Saipan!
