This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Hars is rebuilding a Wirraway at Albion park, they are restoring 1 main aircraft to flight i understand and have another semi restored fuselage to work off a pattern for this also.
Additonally there is a Beaufighter cockpit from HARS rebuilding that will go to Williamtown Fighter World Museum soon.
It seems HARS is really doing well lately and making good progress on many fronts. It will one day be the envy of overseas museums i suspect due to the diveristy and size of their collection.
The only down side is that HARS should open up the museum to more museum flying days somehow to attract the diehard warbird enthusiasts to the Gong...
In talking to various HARS people since 1996 i have known, there are reasos swhy they can and cant do this.. but ideally long term a set display days like TAM would be a great money earner one could hope.
Maybe one day HARS might evn get a B-24 if they pull the right channels im told from sources.
