The Colonels Reading Recce

Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:18 am

Hi All,

Well it was another fun time at Reading very hot must have been close to 100 but still better then rain, It was nice to meet up with Kevin and the rest of the Berlin Airlift gang hope your finger is alright Kev. Also got to sit in on the Medical Hospital Trama setup and caught Jerry O'Neill in action later on Jerry and I had a nice talk was nice talking with you again Jerry and I'll getting touch with you over the next week or so. And then their was my good old buddy John S(Forgotten Fields) who seems to be all around anything that was a L-Bird :-) But really John Kristin said it was nice finally meeting you and she really was surprised to find out that all the L-Birds have Fabric Covering.

My only complaint was that the other MAAM aircraft had been put over on the other side of the Airport it would have been nice to have their C-47 and Straight Wing P-84 on Display, I understand that its WWII weekend but they did have the P2V-7 on display.

Here are a few shots all ground stuff for more please go to this website,
