I bought this Load Adjuster ~20 years ago. I just wanted "something" from an actual wartime (I hoped) B-17 ...
I actually found this photo a long time ago in Kenn Rust's 8th AF book, IIRC ... I've since then gotten a better version of the pic via the NARA - check out the serial of the Fortress! Before my framer retires, I gotta get a shadow box made to put this photo with the L/A. I know there are zillions of these things out there, but how many can match theirs to a photo, much less a wartime pic? The photo below was taken 23 Dec 44.
