While we're on the subject ...

Lt. L.M. Granger and crew pose by their "Lady Grace 3rd".

Speaking of the Raydon boys, I've long wanted to do a painting of a Slybird Mustang, and Mr. Allen's FHC '51 may as well be the first ... when we're up there - 3 weeks from today (woo hoo!) - I hope to photograph the paint off of it.

"Lady Gwen II" was Capt. Robert Abernathy's P-51D LH-Q 414969.
He was an ace with 5.
LT. William Manahan flew 6 mission with the 350 FS joining in March 1945.
FO. Glenn Stapp flew 5 missions in the 351 FS
joining in March also.
353 FG P-51 would be nice painting .

Nice photo's Jack.
To bad about LtCol. Rimmerman and Capt McGuire .Fly in combat for over a year and live though all that than die in a aircrash after the war.

Very nice to see a picture of Major Bill Price and Janie, in August 2005 Major Bill Price once again returned to England and spent a weekend with us and the current 'Janie'
On the Sunday Maurice Hammond took Bill back to Raydon after a tour of East Anglia for the first time in 50 years. It was an honour to meet him and hear his tales.
