Yesterday was the burthday of the Mother of all modern fighters..
The McDonnell F-4 Phantom II
Oh no special burthday............. its the 50th!!!!
So here to another 50years and a good returns to the St Louis Slugger, Double ugly, Rhino, Spook, Bomber with a nose gunner, Flying brickhouse, Smokey and many more names.
Have flown in 11 countries decals, fought many wars, seen many fly in her and has established numerous records.
Lets hope more appears as warbirds before they become cans and pots
