Looking for photos/video

Sun May 25, 2008 7:10 pm

Looking for photos or video of my uncle's B-29 Were Wolf which was with the 870th Bomb Squadron, 497th Bomb Group, 73rd Bomb Wing from Saipan. Was shot down on January 27, 1945. His B-29 carried the code A [] 28, serial number: 42-63423 with Capt. Hahn A/C commander.
Here's a page on the mission that day: http://216.219.175.113/hap/. Thanks for any info/help that can be made. -PBY

PBY-

I did a little digging in my various web link lists, but all I could come up with was one photo with A Square 28 in the foreground:

There is also a movie clip at the top left of this page that I didn't review:

Hope that helps a little, and I will sort through my B-29 stuff to see if I have the nose art.

Best that I could find. According to the caption, A Sq 26 with A Sq 28 second. Drill back up into site. They have a few good photos of the others and some good links.
