DC-7 @Goodyear

Sun May 25, 2008 6:32 am

I used to work for ATTI in Tucson many years ago and they had their main facility at Goodyear airport, I was up there for a week taking training and there was a DC-7 on the ramp that I remember somebody told me still had the airliner configuration in it. Is it still there? Who owns it and what are the plans if any? Any curent pic's from anyone?
Thanks

It is still there, I saw it on Friday. It used to be Ladybird Johnson's and yes, it has a airline interior. It is owned by the Mosely bothers.

It has seats installed, yes. But I would'nt call it an airline interior, as shown on Ruud leeuw's site.

I think that it has not been converted to haul cargo or drop slurry is what is meant. A rarity these days from what I hear.
