Frightening thought, could THIS be the 'everymans airplane' that POPULAR MECHANICS has been promoting for 60+ years?
Be afraid, be very afraid of people with big credit limits and tiny I.Q's buying these  :?

Well I got a great idea for an Airshow act. Dress the guy up like Iron Man and let him fly rings around an F-22 Raptor!

I've seen video footage of Yves Rossy before. I think what he does is really cool! Seeing him soaring around in the skies over the beautiful Swiss Alps, so graceful. . .

However. . . :x

You don't have to worry about Mr. Joe Average ever being permitted to buy a set of jet-wings and fly around with them. It'll never happen in the USA. Homeland Security would have conniptions over the very thought of people doing that in here in the States. They'd conjure up visions of legions of winged, jet-propelled terrorists swarming over our cities like a plague of locusts, dropping grenades on backyard cookouts, machine-gunning children on the school playground, and dropping "dirty bombs" on baseball games. It would be like some kind of alien attack in a low-buck 1950s sci-fi movie.

It would be cool to see the jet-wings demo'd at an air show! 8)
