1933 Movie "He ll Below"

This "Keystone" LB-6 [and several P-12Cs and Ds] were used in the filming of "He ll Below," a 1933 submarine movie starring Robert Montgomery. Where was it filmed!

My dad was good friends with Robert Montgomery, Dad also met John Wayne a few times. Went sailing with the Duke a couple of times after the war.

I love those Keystone bombers - if the NMUSAF really does have parts of two of them, I hope they do a restoration/recreation of one someday.

The movie's IMDB page ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0024100/ ) lists the filming location as Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, but the sinking of the destroyer (a real one, the ex-USS Moody DD-277 - not a miniature!) was filmed in San Pedro, CA according to this wreck divers' page:
