Did you remember today!? I thought for sure I would see a post on this today..

VE DAY!!! May 8th, 1945! God bless them all!!

And not to mention the birthday of Thunderbird (LSFM's B-17)

I heard it mentioned on a radio show this morning. This is a very significant date in history, for sure. 8)

Thank you to all the veterans that fought to make the war in Europe end 63 years ago today. I know I will never forget what they did for us all.

Considering the importance of this day, I kind of wish there was more recognition of it in my local newspapers, and tv news.
