This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Flew into Duxford today and took a couple of pictures you guys may like to see. This was probably the last time I fly in to the museum and the great weather (about time too) made it a day to remember.
and a more unusual view of 'Sally B'

I am going this fall for my first time. I was told to check out a place called the Eagle's nest. You guys hear of it? I also want to make sure I see the American Air Museum.

The only Eagle's Nest I've heard of is the Nazi hierarchy's lair but that's in Bavaria on the top of the Obersalzburg so I doubt that's relevant to Duxford.
However, there is a pub in Cambridge called The Eagle.

Mustangdriver, you will enjoy the USAF part of Duxford. Looking at the building from outside it is hard to believe the aircraft that can be found inside.

You'll leave in the
fall, but arrive in the
autumn.
Travelling from the NMUSAF to the AAM - isn't that like coming to England to eat at MacDonalds?
You'll have a great time, I'm sure. Get to a show, as well.
